Let's make it a Green Friday (again) 💚

Black Friday is coming 🖤

At ReBorn we recognise that this is an important period for the category and many shoppers – but we’re also mindful that excess consumption and waste is bad for the health of our planet 🌎

Black Friday can (unfortunately) be a day filled with discounted, cheaply produced ‘virgin’ plastic homewares shipped from the Far East 😔 But, what if we could actually make it a day that's ReBorn as Green?

 Here's how: 

• Make a plan for items you really need - avoid impulse/panic buying

• Buy items that last - check durability & customer reviews (here's a great place to find some)

• Set a budget to keep spending mindfully

• Use Black Friday to save money on Xmas presents. Be thoughtful in thinking about the recipient 

• Consider using charity shops – either for gifts or for donating any unwanted items, and avoid discarding into landfill

• And of course, choose made from recycled materials, that can be recycled again and again.
